Challenge yourself with a curriculum designed by experts

Bowling Green's online MSCJ is a challenging program that combines the latest theoretical knowledge of the field with the practicalities of real-world experience.

The program requires students to complete a 33 semester hour program of course work, plus a capstone project. Most online students are able to complete the entire program in two calendar years.

  • Research Methods in Criminal Justice
  • Data and Statistical Analysis in Criminal Justice
  • Principles of Organization and Management
  • Seminar in Contemporary Policing
  • Seminar in Contemporary Juvenile Justice
  • Seminar in Contemporary Corrections
  • Criminal Justice Policy Analysis
  • Crime Analysis and Mapping
  • Issues in Justice Administration

Capstone project

In order to successfully complete your studies and graduate with an MSCJ degree, you will be required to complete a capstone project, which will consolidate all of the theories and knowledge acquired from the course work in a final, comprehensive project.
